| 2010-02-08: Proof of life |
| It has been some time now since I wrote news about the eLog program so here is a sign of life. Right now my job-related work takes much of my time so I was not able to work much on eLog. Nevertheless, the next update will be released! Right now it already contains more than 31 improvements, bugfixes and new features. I would also take the chance to say a big 'thank you' for all the feedback and the many many ideas I receive every day from all of you! As you know I appreciate any comment about eLog so please keep on writing. It may take some days but every Email will be answered. |
What is eLog?
According JAR-FCL 1.080 pilots are required to maintain a logbook containing all flights they have performed. This logbook is required to contain detailed information like various flight times and data about the aircraft used for the flight. eLog contains everything a pilot needs to perform this task. Additionally detailled statistics are calculated and JAR-FCL compliant reports can be printed.
Who uses eLog?
Right now eLog is used by employees of major airlines as well as charter companies from all over the world. Translations to other languages than English are planned. Actually additional language packs for German and Spanish are available (see translations).
